Bald Mountain Camps offers a variety of four season activities. During the winter months both alpine and cross country skiing are available nearby on some of the best trails in New England. The Rangeley Lakes region is also home of some of the best snowmobile trail systems in Maine. You can snowmobile right up to our lodge and enjoy some of the finest food and hospitality in the area.
Summer includes canoeing and kayaking on lakes, area streams and rivers; boating; kayaking, water-skiing; and sailing. An 18 hole public golf course is available nearby. We have a clay tennis court and hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. There is also a playground for the kids. Main Lodge
Our main lodge has many activities for both our guests and those stopping by. Enjoy free wi-fi while you watch TV or just enjoy the fire. There's a full bar available and our great pub-menu will satisfy any hunger.
Paddle Board and Kayak Tours
BMC Guide Service is now offering Paddle Board and Kayak Tours on area lakes and rivers during the summer. Enjoy sunrise or sunset tours on Moosleookmeguntic Lake or Rangeley Lake. Tours are also available on the Kennebago River. Email us for pricing and for more information or call 207-864-3671. (Four person minimum).
Snowmobiling
We LOVE snowmobilers! Our location is prime for those who want to stay and experience the great trails in the Rangeley area or for those who need a break, a quick lunch and to get warm. We'll warn you though - once you step into our main lodge you may not want to leave! Check out our snowmobile section for more information.
Boat Rentals
We have boats and motors available for rent for the sightseer and angler. We also have water ski boats and equipment and personal watercraft (on nearby Rangeley Lake) for rent. Call or email us for current pricing and information.
Hunting and Fishing
The Rangeley area is home to some of the finest hunting and fishing in the state of Maine. Land-locked salmon and brook trout provide excellent fishing opportunities. Deer, birds and bear can be hunted in season and moose can be taken by special lottery. Registered Maine Guide Services are available on request for those staying with us.
